I’ll be teaching a new workshop series for Dadageek starting next week.

The classes are designed to be an absolute beginners guide to making light and sound with analog and Arduino.
It will be once a week for 6 weeks with a final exhibition of what you create. The price is $250 and includes the materials, Arduino, bread board, components etc, that you get to keep!

Here’s a couple examples of devices I put together to show what can be done with your own circuits, not to mention all the other things I’ve created over the years….

We’ve finished QA on the final version of the PCB and are ready to send it to production.
The first orders will start going out in about 3 weeks (mid April). In the meantime, you can pick out your noise friend’s colors!

Here are some basic combinations, but you can order any combination you’d like. In the order field just tell us:
– Sticker color (from the six options shown: Black, white, red, green, blue, or purple)
– LED color (white, red, green, blue, or yellow)
– LEDacle wire colors (Pick three from white, black, pink, red, orange, light green, green, light blue, blue, or purple)

For example, just say “Black sticker, LEDacle with a green LED, and pink, purple and yellow wires” in the comment box of your order and we’d be happy to create your own wild creature!

The stickers and PCB are almost ready! Just need to order one last test of each and it’ll be off to assembly.

The last revision of the board works and sounds great but the controls need to be moved around slightly so we need to do one more prototype.
The stickers have been a surprising amount of trouble but after 6 proofs we’ve finally got the colors we’ve been after.

By the end of the month we’ll have the final images online so you can pick your color combos!

This shouldn’t put us too far behind the original schedule as most of the work is machining enclosures in house and that can begin next week.
